Radovici

Not far from Budva is a small resort village of Radovici, popular in Montenegro. Despite the small number of residents and its small size, it attracts tourists with its mild climate and clean beaches. It is especially good for a family vacation with children.

Geographical location

On the map of Montenegro, the village of Radovici is located just 10 km from the resort of Tivat, which can be reached in just 20 minutes. The village itself is located on the Lustica peninsula, which was once inhabited by pirates and smugglers in ancient times.

 Now it is a great place for a safe vacation. About 560 people live here permanently, whose job is to provide services to visitors.

Climate features

The climate in the village of Radovici, which is in Montenegro, is Mediterranean. There is high humidity, and it is quite hot in the summer. 

But thanks to the light sea breeze that blows away the midday heat, it is very comfortable to relax here. 

Cold winds from the continental part of the Balkans do not reach here because the village is surrounded by high mountains.

Sights and entertainment in Radovici

There are no special sights near the village, and therefore before settling here, you should find out where to go from Radovici in Montenegro for entertainment. After all, tourists who like evening trips to the disco may get bored here during the day. Radovici is sand, sun and warm water, and even an abandoned chapel.

By the way, about the water - the village of Radovici is famous for its Blue Horizons beach (Plavi Horizonti) - the cleanest in Montenegro. 

The water there is always warm due to the gentle slope - it is very shallow even at a distance of 50 m from the shore.

The second famous beach is Alamar Beach. Here, in a cozy and even intimate atmosphere, couples or close family circles relax. 

In addition to sun loungers and towels, which are provided on all beaches, there are canopy sofas to protect you from the sun and prying eyes, and the approach to the water is via a clean wooden deck. This pleasure is not cheap, but there are always plenty of people who want it.

Hotels and restaurants in Radovici

You will not find any luxurious villas in this area, but decent apartments are guaranteed. It is best to rely on reviews from former guests, since travel agency advertising is not always truthful:

Villa Galina is very well known in Montenegro, so when going to Radovici, you can safely choose it. The villa will greet its guests with hospitality and well-kept rooms.

A hotel representative will be waiting for you at the airport, who will take guests to their destination. Despite the three-star hotel, the service in it is five-star. 

House Bastion 4 * is a cultural and historical value.

Guests can not only enjoy their stay here, but also feel the spirit of antiquity. 

The rooms of one of the most elegant hotels in Montenegro in the village of Radovici are equipped with air conditioning, modern furniture, a private kitchen and a shower. In the cozy courtyard you can barbecue.

Apartmani Kalezic. These apartments, located in the village of Radovici in Montenegro, have their own parking, Internet, air conditioning in the rooms and a playground. An additional cot is provided for children.

Apartments Starčević, located in the very center of the city, are very impressive. 

These hotel rooms are located in a stone building, and this suggests the antiquity of this building. Whether it is so old or this is the architect's idea - you will have to find out for yourself, settling there.

The only downside is that from the windows you can only see the mountains and surrounding buildings, but the sea is 1 km away on foot or by car.

Apartments Bakadekina are located in the center of Radovici. For a minimal fee, guests are provided with home-style apartments with their own kitchenette and all the necessary attributes for a holiday.

You can have lunch or dinner in Radovici in one of the popular restaurants:

Restaurant Izlet. In this establishment, the name of which is written in Russian, you can have an inexpensive and tasty lunch. 

The menu here consists of dishes of local Montenegrin cuisine, which is very good, especially if you order local wine in addition.

Astoria. In this restaurant you can order fish dishes for any, even the most sophisticated taste, because there is a Mediterranean menu. But you should be prepared for the fact that the bill will be a very round sum.

Sloga. In this simple and cozy cafe by the road you can have a snack of simple dishes of the local cuisine.

How to get to Radovici?

It is not difficult to come to rest in this quiet and secluded place. You can take a bus in Tivat, which will take you to the center of the village in 20 minutes. Or better yet, be independent and rent a car and drive along the Jadranska magistrala highway.
