The recommended routs for individual trips by a rented car or by your own car.
1. Bar - Petrovac - Rezevici - Sveti Stefan, Milocher, Przhno - Budva - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 80km
Notice:
- it's better to plan your trip the way you can spend an evening in Budva;
- parking in Milocher is the most expensive in Montenegro, so the best way to reach the park is by feet;
- it's better to swim and sun bathe on Mogren beach in Budva.
2. Bar - Virpazar - Rijeka Crnoeviča - Cetinje - Lovchen - Budva -Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 150km
Notice:
- all museums in Cetinje work till 5p.m.;
- the road from Cetinje to Lovchen is just for the experienced drivers.
3. Bar - Ulcinj - Velika Plaza - Ada Bojana - Old Bar - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 80km
Notice:
- it's better to plan your trip the way you can have lunch at fish restaurants of Ada Bojana;
- do not miss jewelry shops in Ulcinj;
- there is an old olive tree (2 thousand years) on the way from the Old city.
4. Bay of Kotor (1st option):
Bar - Budva – ferry in Lepetani - Hercg Novi - Perast - Kotor - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 200km
Notice:
- it's better to plan your trip the way you can spend evening in Kotor and to see the fortress illumonation;
- take a boat in Perast and go to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks.
5. Bay of Kotor (2nd option):
Bar - Tivat - Kotor - Budva - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 150km
Notice:
- you should drive along the right sea shore of Bay of Kotor to Tivat and Kotor
6. Bar - Skadar Lake (Virpazar) - Murichi - Virpazar - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 50km
Notice:
- the road Virpazar - Murichi is a narrow mountain serpentine, that's why it is recommended just for experienced drivers; the rest of people are advised to trip by boat.
7. Bar - Herceg-Novi - Dubrovnik (Croatia) - Cavtat (Croatia) - Herceg-Novi - Bar
Notice:
- it's quite difficult to find a parking place in Dubrovnik, therefore it's better to leave your car far away from the city center and take a taxi or have a walk.
8. Bar - Podgirica - Kolashin - canyon Moraca - Mojkovac - canyon Tara - Zablyak (overnight stop) - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 50km and takes 2-3 days
9. Bar - Ostrog - Podgirica - Bar
- the distance of the rout is about 170km
Notice:
- the part of the rout close to Ostrog is a mountain serpentine;
- do not miss cave Monastery Dajbabe on the way.
